Hopi Cohort Workshop – August 19th – 20th 2023
Let’s Talk Code led a two-day workshop for teachers from the Hopi nation. The goal was simple: teach these educators how to use Code.org’s App Lab so they can introduce computer science to their students. Over the two days, teachers got hands-on experience and learned practical ways to bring tech lessons into their classrooms.
Fort Lewis Workshop – July 12th – 14th 2023
Let’s Talk Code put together a three-day workshop at Fort Lewis College for teachers from the Navajo Nation. They focused on using Code.org’s App Lab for app development. By the end of the three days, every teacher had made their own app. It was hands-on, practical, and fun, giving teachers new tools to take back to their classrooms.
